I was ridiculed all my teenage years for my obesity. Dr. Joshi did not judge me. In fact he was one of the only physicians I have been to that did not make me feel ashamed. He made me feel supported- like we were a team. We set small goals for each visit. I managed to get my cholesterol down by 30 points in the first 6 months after meeting Dr. Joshi. I could not have done it without him. I know him as my doctor but he is also my wise teacher and I cannot thank him enough.

Yes there may be a wait when you get to his office but it’s because he is not rushed. He knows what he is doing. Gets down to business without making you feel like you’re just another heart attack waiting to happen. After 30 years of my wife nagging me to quit smoking- Dr. Joshi motivated me to believe that I could actually do it. He made me realize I was my biggest obstacle. Quit more than 10 years ago and heart still going strong. I could not have done it without Dr. Joshi.
